Public Members Meeting Openhouse
Hello Flyers!
The Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club will hold our next public meeting on Thursday, August 27 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Brent Hambrick Memorial Disc Golf Course.
We’ll meet at our usual tournament HQ location, the pavilion near the first parking lot along Cubbage Rd just past Hole I's basket.
The primary item on the agenda will be the club’s proposed updated bylaws. We’ll discuss the proposal and hold a membership vote with the goal of formally ratifying the new bylaws.
As always, this is a public meeting and we encourage members of the Columbus disc golf community to attend.
We’ll also be accepting questions, feedback, and suggestions for the club. If there’s something you think the Flyers should be discussing or working on, this is a great opportunity to bring it forward.

The 7th Annual Buckeye Classic
19 holes
4 players per card
Registration limited to 76 players
Tee Pads for Pro/MA1/MA2/MA40 divisions will be based on total registration the week before the event
MA3/MA4 will play short pads
Baskets will be in tournament positions the week before event
Players pack will be a MVP Wave disc and a BHMO commemorative Disc Golf Pin

Divisions will be capped to start to help make space and could change depending on interest.
This year’s split days will have different layouts. The layouts will be in the correct place 1 week before the event! So please get your practice in then. ( it will be in the other configuration till then)
Layout will be: 1A, 2A, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6A, 7A, 8A, 9A, 10B, 11B, 12A, 13B, 14A, 15A, 16B, 17B, 18A
MA2 will play one round long and one round short. All others will play only shorts.
Players pack is still in works, please check back soon!
Ace fund is day specific and if none are hit the money will go towards course modifications and tee signs
Trophies will be awarded to 1st-3rd in divisions with more than 10 players.

Lobdell Open 2026 Sponsored by Latitude 64 (Pros and MA1)
Thanks for your interest in the Lobdell Open 2026 Sponsored by Latitude 64! Brought to you by the Columbus Flyers. This year the pro divisions and Ma1 will be playing the best that Lobdell Reserve has to offer!
There will be trophy’s for 1st-3rd in divisions with more than 10 participants.
MPO and Ma1 will play longs, all others will play shorts.
Layout will consist of:
1B, 2B, 3B, 4A, 5A, 6B, 7B, 8B, 9B, 10B, 11A, 12B, 13B(alternating tee pads), 14B, 15A, 16B, 17B, 18B
( the long layout will play hole 13 from the short as a par 3 and the short layout will play the long layout as a par 4)
Baskets will be in this configuration soon and stay till one week before the event and will change to give people playing on the other day a chance to practice their layout. Please practice before the week before if you want the baskets in there locations.

The 2026 Brent Hambrick Memorial (Pro Weekend)
Hello everybody and thank you for your interest in the 2026 Pro Brent Hambrick Memorial Open!
This is a PDGA sanctioned A-Tier and will be contested over 3 rounds in 3 days. All 3 rounds will be taking at the Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC in Westerville, Ohio.
We will be playing the "gold" layout from the past few Pro tournaments but this year we will be introducing new OB lines to make the course tougher and more up to speed for 2026 standards. More details coming on that sometime next week.
This year we have $5,000 added cash going towards the prize pool. In addition, we have gathered a good amount of money through our sponsors that will go towards our flagship charity. Sponsors and charity totals will also be announced very soon.

Lobdell Open
We thank you for your interest in this year’s Lobdell Open. This year’s event will be a PDGA B-Tier event over two days and will use the tee time format. Please follow the event as more details will be released.

Brent Hambrick Memorial Open - Professional Weekend
Welcome to the Brent Hambrick Memorial Open, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year's event will be held over three days and will be three rounds. All rounds will use the tee time format and the gold layout.
Registration can be found on Disc Golf Scene, and early registration is available for event sponsors.
Throwdown at the Tower
The Columbus Flyers are proud to present Throwdown at the Tower, presented by MVP Disc Sports. This will be a two-round event. This will be a two-round event run on tee times. Each competitor will play one round each day.
