Welcome to the Columbus Point Series

The Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club is happy to present the Columbus Point Series. The series is comprised of many of our club's events:

Columbus Open
Mill Valley Shootout
8th Annual PHX Fund
Throwdown at the Tower
Buckeye Classic
Lobdell Open

Points are awarded based on your finishing position in each event, and the total is tabulated at the end of the year to crown our champions.

Division winners will be recognized at our year-end member party, receive a trophy for their win, and receive a complimentary club membership for the 2025 season.

Upcoming Point Series Events

  • Columbus Open

    03.23 & 03.24 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    The Columbus Open is a 2 day, PDGA-sanctioned B-Tier that is 2 rounds. All players will play 1 round at Walnut Hill and 1 round at Simsbury Park. Player's pack pick-up, payouts, and awards will take place at Walnut Hill after both rounds are complete

    04.20 & 04.21 7:00 AM -6:00 PM

    This is a PDGA B-Tier tournament, which will have at least $750 in added cash to the pro payout and a stellar player’s pack for amateurs including a Discraft disc and a full art towel from the Guardian Aliens!

  • 8th Annual PHX Fund

    06.22 7:00 AM - 6:00PM

    The Columbus Flyers appreciate your interest in the 8th Annual PHX Fund benefiting thephxfund.org. The event will take place at both Alum Creek and Kinsow DGC. Please come out and join us for this great event and support this wonderful cause.

  • Throwdown at the Tower

    07.13 & 07.14 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    The Columbus Flyers are proud to present Throwdown at the Tower, presented by MVP Disc Sports. This will be a two-round event. This will be a two-round event run on tee times. Each competitor will play one round each day

  • Buckeye Classic

    09.21 & 09.22 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    The Buckeye Classic is returning once again in 2024. This year we will be using tee times with all divisions playing one round on both days. The event will take place at both Alum Creek and the Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC.

  • Lobdell Open

    10.12 & 10.13 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    Thanks for your interest in the Lobdell Open. This year's event will be a two-day tee-timed event, with each division playing one round Saturday and one round Sunday. This will be a B-Tier event for both pro and amateur divisions.
